The Center for International Student Access (CISA), in partnership with the university Honors College, offers a Peer Learning Partnership (PLP) Program, which connects Mason students with international freshmen in the ACCESS Program to help develop specific research skills and strategies. This includes how to use library resources, find and evaluate sources, and present research findings in both oral and visual formats.

The PLP Program offers paid positions for undergraduates who have strong research and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating  student meetings and learning activities
  • Attending at least one 75-minute recitation of PROV 106: Introduction to Research Methods each week and
  • Attending bi-weekly meetings
