Five groups of ACCESS students presented unique websites created for a final project for their English class about poverty. The presentations reflected their answer to this question: “How have all of your courses this year contributed to a holistic understanding of poverty?” Reflecting on their experiences in American Culture, Research Methods, World History, Communication, Freshman Transition, and English Composition, the groups collectively examined the issue of poverty across a variety of perspectives.
These winning websites show their international perspectives on global poverty and demonstrate connections the students made among the skills and concepts they learned about this past year.
