The Center for International Student Access (CISA) offers first-year academic programs and intercultural experiences for international students beginning their degree programs at Mason. Founded in 2010, CISA has grown into a resource center for international students in the undergraduate ACCESS Program & graduate BRIDGE Program as they transition into the university community during their first year of study. CISA is committed to creating a supportive, culturally inclusive learning environment to help our students to develop as global citizens and to be successful at Mason. Our students benefit from a variety of support services, including higher levels of academic advising, personal adjustment support, and academic English language tutoring, as needed. CISA also facilitates peer support programs that help our students to build confidence in their abilities both as students and as multilingual speakers of English.
